Thousands of people and animals become victims on Bulgarian roads each year. Most of the incidents are due to a human mistake. If every driver has more tolerance towards the others and strictly observes the traffic regulations, s/he can save the life of many people and animals.

Sofia Auto has been an official member of the European Road Safety Charter since the beginning of 2007. Sofia Auto is an official member of the European Road Safety Charter of the Transport Commission of the European Union.

The aim of the code is attracting the attention of each participant in road traffic to his/her personal responsibility.

By accepting the Ethical code of tolerant drivers in Bulgaria, each of us expresses his/her supports for a more pleasant and safer road traffic.

The tolerant driver:

1. knows and observes the traffic regulations;

2. keeps his/her vehicle clean and in good technical condition;

3. drives in a careful and responsible way without taking any risks;

4. helps drivers whose cars are having breakdown on the road;

5. respects the other drivers on the road;

6. defends the rights of pedestrians;

7. drives only when sober;

8. is tolerant to other participants in the traffic;

9. does now allow aggressive behavior on the road;

10. keeps environment animals on the road;
